Maternity Session in Old Auburn

Okay... I know that I've been a bad blogger.  I got chastised last night by an awesome lady who reminded me that I've been neglecting my blog.  It became too easy just to throw up photos on Facebook.  But she reminded me that not everyone is on Facebook.  And so... to sweet Selena, this blog post is for you!  And just so you folks know, if you comment on my posts you'll find that I post more.  Just saying...

On Friday I photographed a very cool couple. You know when you meet people and think to yourself, "These are my kind of people... I could totally hang with these folks".  Well that applies to this couple.  They are expecting a baby girl in a few months, and wanted to get some pictures of this special moment in their marriage.  I was excited that they live in Auburn, because I don't have the opportunity to shoot much there and it's always fun to find new nooks and crannies to photograph.  Old Auburn definitely didn't leave me hanging... there's a ton of fabulous areas!  And how cute are they?  That's going to be one cute baby... just saying...

I love that this pregnant momma went to a make-up artist.  Let's get real, not many of us really know how to do our make-up for a photo session.  I sure as heck don't!  But it makes such a HUGE difference in photos!  Look how fabulous she looks!

And her own mother was able to join us for our session! It always makes me emotional when grandparents get involved in sessions because I think about what it will be like when my own babies have babies one day.  What a special bond to have with your children!

Okay... you've made it to the bottom of the post. This is the part where you comment and encourage me to write another one. Okay... and... go!
