A family session at Effie Yeaw Nature Center

I love doing portrait sessions in Ancil Hoffman Park in Sacramento because it is always so beautiful.  However, if the sun is high in the sky it can make for tough lighting conditions.  So when I got up last Saturday morning and saw the glorious cloud cover, I knew it was going to make for a make easier session.  I met this family fairly early in the morning, without realizing they had about a 45 minute drive to get there.  Needless to say, that probably meant that mom was up before the crack of dawn to get herself and her three boys ready (including 2-year old twins).  And she even showed up looking absolutely amazing in a gorgeous dress with her hair and make-up done.  People always impress me with their commitment to their portrait sessions!  When we arrived there were beautiful clouds in the sky and the birds were singing like crazy.  Life doesn't get any better!

You know what was interesting about their two sweet little twin boys is that they were COMPLETELY different from one another.  One had the darker straight hair... the other had the toe-head curls.  One was shy around new people... the other was completely extroverted.  It was abundantly obvious that they were each their own little person and you can SEE it in their photos (especially in the two below).  But one thing was abundantly similar... they both ADORED their old brother.  Actually, I think the adoration went both ways.

Now it's your turn!  Leave some bloggity love for this fabulous family and let them know what beautiful people they are, inside and out!
