Portraits of new friends and nieghbors

One of the scary parts about leaving Sacramento is that we had such a great community of friends there.  But one of the things that was obvious when we moved into our new neighborhood here in Beaverton, was that there were a ton of fabulous young families in the area with kids the age of our own children.  What a blessing!  Within a couple of weeks our 2nd grader had met and befriended a little girl the same age as her just a few doors down AND they just happened to be in the same class!  This little girl has so much spunk and confidence, especially in front of the camera!

Good kids often come from loving parents, and she is no exception to the rule.  It's so wonderful to see how cherished she is by her mom and dad!

And mom and dad seemed pretty smitten too!

While we were wandering around Jenkins Estate, we came across this awesome historical building.  It was SO pretty and my favorite images of the session were taken there!

It was a blessing to be able to take these portraits for such a wonderful family and I'm looking forward to getting to know them better over the years!
