A family and their Vespa | Folsom Family Photographer

Last year I donated a session to an auction fundraiser for the Sacramento Mother of Multiples (SMOM).  The winner of my session was a family with 5-year old boy/girl twins.  I was REALLY excited about shooting this particular family, because not only are they fun people, but the father just happens to collect Vespas and has this awesome red scooter with sidecar that would make an awesome prop.

Shooting 5-year olds is such a fun age.  It's easy to get natural smiles out of them just by being a little goofy.  They were such good kids and put up with my antics.  But I think I wore them out because they both passed out in their car seats on the way home!

Their daughter LOVED being in front of the camera and had a myriad of her own poses that she broke out.  Shes a natural little model.

Their son was a little more coy, but when he let loose with a big ol' smile he just melted my heart.  It was so darling to see how much he loves his mama too.  

It's always such a pleasure to shoot a family that obviously have fun together and enjoy one another.

And of course gorgeous kids always seem to come from good looking parents! It was fun to travel to our shooting location together and hear the story of how they met.  Sometimes it's just obvious that two people are meant to be together!
